HR Shared Service Advisor (Fixed term, initial 6 month contract)
What's the role?
We’re looking for a proactive, driven, efficient and innovative individual to join our HR Shared Services team based in Trafford Park, Manchester on an initially fixed term basis for 6 months.
Experience of European (Sweden/Denmark) policies and procedures within a HR Shared Services enviroment is essential.
This role will be based from our Hub Head Office in Manchester.

What does the role involve?
The role of the HR Shared Services Advisor is to support the business in key areas such as:
HR Helpdesk/query management
Provide first class customer service to the business, being first point contact for all HR related queries, via phone, email and in person; responding promptly, whilst managing expectations effectively.
Advise on all HR policies and procedures.
Provide proactive and consistent support to the HR team, line managers and employees on a day to day basis and through identifying opportunities for further training and communication.
Maintain and update the HR Intranet page & SharePoint pages and post intranet announcements as requested
Update and distribute Employee news (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly)
Employee Life Cycle
Handle internal and external requests and correspondence including employee references, offer letters, contracts and change letters for new starters and existing employees
Coordinate the onboarding, transfer and leaver processes including creating & sending contracts & offer packs, collating and filing and chasing necessary documents
Manage and maintain all personnel data in the SAP HR system ensuring 100% accuracy and data quality, being aware of impact on payroll system and HR reporting
Manage and maintain SAP HR org chart, being aware of impact on other systems inc. Success Factors etc.
Provide SLT notifications to relevant areas of the business for all people changes and updates, as scheduled or with appropriate notice
Reporting & other
Training coordination for the Hilti Way and induction weeks locally
Provide scheduled monthly and ad hoc reports from SAP HR system as required
Continuously review processes, identify and recommend process improvements to enable more effective, efficient and enhanced customer service
Support with HR projects and other adhoc tasks as required
Provide first line point of contact for all training related queries
Manage training administration including coordination of BTS & Trade training on an Northern Europe level and the Hilti Way (GB only)
Maintain SAP P03 training and event records for Northern Europe employees for all training taking place in GB
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and providers of catering, accommodation and other services as required
Effectively and proactively communicate with all stakeholders the training schedule, activities of the L&D team and use of the Northern EuropeTraining Centre facilities
Update SAP P11 and GB territory list to reflect all territory changes to ensure correct CRM access

What you need is:
- Previous experience working in an HR department or shared service centre with a solid understanding of the principles of HR
- Effective communication skills with experience working within a proactive and customer service focused environment
- Strong IT skills in MS-Office (especially Excel, Power Point and Word)
- Proactive, flexible and self-reliant individual with a can-do attitude and problem solving ability
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail with ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- SAP HR and/or reporting experience desirable
- Further education preferable and committed to continuous learning and development
- Experience of Swedish and Danish HR policies and procedures
- Minimum 1 years’ administrative/business experience in a role successfully balancing a broad range of tasks.
