Local Logistics Expert
What's the role?
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Local Logistics Expert for our Swedish Logistics organization located in Arlöv, outside of Malmö. You will assist the smooth communication flow between the local Market Organization and the Regional Materials Management team in Sales Forecasting, Material Availability and Inventory Management. You will ensure a high delivery quality to our customers through monitoring and controlling all aspects of outbound transport, whilst managing freight costs to ensure productivity targets are met.

What does the role involve?
As a Logistics Business Partner, you will support the sales planning for large customer projects to ensure the availability of stock and where necessary, develop bespoke delivery solutions for specific customer needs. You will be responsible for controlling Account Managers’ Van stock, ensuring that it’s physically counted and old-tools are regularly sold-off.
You will attend ‘Sales Forecast Integration’ (SFI) meetings together with the Swedish leadership team and regional Materials Management, to provide a status update for customer projects in both the planning and execution phases. You will use the SFI platform to alert management and provide solutions to any risks you foresee in the control of Van stock.
You will assist the management of transport to customers by ensuing defined service levels are achieved. Leading the review of Transport Shop Floor Management will enable you to proactively steer the service level to the business via Continuous Improvement Initiatives, ensure transport quality, and the control of delivery performance. You will work closely with our carriers and be responsible for monthly carrier invoice checks and claim submissions.
You will work closely with the Swedish team and the Northern Europe team located in Manchester. This role will prepare you to pursue an international career and provides fast opportunities to do your next step abroad.

What you need is:
- Master's degree
- Relevant Logistics and/or Materials Management experience preferred
- SAP experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office (especially excel)
- Fluent in Swedish and English (written & oral)
- Passion to learn and drive to succeed
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
