Due to continued growth, we’re currently looking for driven and motivated business developers with technical backgrounds to join our fast-growing Energy & Industry team across Northern Europe.

What does the role involve?

At Hilti, our Energy & Industry commitment is to deliver sustainability with the aim to reduce total cost of ownership for facility owners, EPCs, contractors and OEMs across Natural Resources, Power and Industry business segments. We work across the project lifecycle and build a customized value proposition on engineering, logistic services, special product solutions, site support and price agreements to go hand in hand with the customer’s specific requirements.

As a Business Developer predominantly responsible for Pulp & Paper customers, you are accountable for building and developing relationships with key customers to become their trusted partner and integrate into their process flow. You will get to understand their business needs, provide them with innovative and differentiated solutions that create value to both customers and Hilti. You will be responsible for leading account development plans, managing various stakeholders and owning pipeline of sales opportunities.

What you need is:

  • Engineering degree desirable, and/or Technical background (understanding of statics and dynamics is preferred)
  • Experience within Pulp & paper industry desirable
  • 3 years in technical sales or business development roles
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Self-starter, who can work autonomously or within a team
  • Mature, assertive attitude and committed to your career development with good communication skills
  • Resilience and goal orientated, with the ability to overcome barriers
  • A full, clean, manual driving license
  • Fluent in English
